How To Add a WordPress Gallery to your Posts & Pages

One of the many goodies packed inside Artisan Creatif is native support for the WordPress gallery shortcode. Introduced in WordPress 2.5, the gallery shortcode is a hassle free solution for serving up image galleries in your posts and pages. Though we love the user friendliness of this feature, as developers, we have always been dissatisfied with the invalid markup the shortcode returns. Let’s face it, what good is a beautiful theme if it is ugly under the hood?

Fortunately for all of us, Justin Tadlock has released wonderful plugin called Cleaner Gallery. This plugin not only fixes the invalid dl, dt and dd markup, but also seamlessly integrates with several jQuery lightbox plugins. That’s wonderful news for us, since Artisan Creatif comes with native support for the Fancybox plugin.

In this quick, how-to video, we are going to show you how to add your own gallery to your posts, or pages, in no time. If you have not done so already, I highly recommend you download and install Cleaner Gallery. Follow the instructions, in your User Guide, to set the plugin up with Artisan Creatif.
